Buckley l'ultima elegìa è uno spettacolo teatrale e musicale nato nel 2009 da un idea di Luca Malinverni,sviluppata insieme a Mauro Vaccari,Davide Franchini e Giorgio Tenneriello, che è andata in scena per la prima volta nel febbraio 2010.
Lo spettacolo ci narra la storia di Tim Buckley e Jeff Buckley, entrambi morti giovanissimi , entrambi musicisti.I due musici vengono fatti rivivere come anime in un di al di là omerico dove per la prima volta un padre ed un figlio decidono di raccontarsi intimamente.
Ne nasce un racconto teatrale fatto di solchi fruscianti,voci suadenti, note musicali delicate,poesie,racconti personali,incroci burrascosi con donne e discografia. Ne nasce una delicata indagine nell'intimità di un rapporto esile e quasi mai materializzato, racchiuso nell'universalità di un arte intrisa di oscuro maledettismo e luminose architetture creative, dove ogni scelta è stata pagata a caro prezzo.
Il finale è una tragica confessione sulla capacità di bruciare velocemente nell'oscurità creando luce.
In scena due attori e due musicisti si scambiano i ruoli della narrazione a volte poetica e a volte musicale. Il risultato è un imponente elegìa fatta di musica e parole che per 1h e mezza coinvolge il pubblico in una catarsi totale.

Buckley the last elegy is a theatrical and musical performance born in 2009 from an idea of Luca Malinverni, developed toghether with Mauro Vaccari, Davide Franchini and Giorgio Tenneriello. The premiere was in February 2010.
The play is about Tim and Jeff Buckley, both dead at a very young age, both musicians. These two artists come back alive as souls in an omeric afterlife, where father and son decide to open up to each other for the first time.
The result is a theatrical story made of rustling grooves, mellow voices, delicate musical notes, poems, personal stories and stormy affairs with women and the music industry.
The story becomes a delicate analysis of a frail and almost never materialized relationship, enclosed in a universality deeply characterized by a dark damnation and bright creative architectures, where each choice had a heavy price.
The play ends up with a tragic confession about the ability to burn quickly away, en-lighting the darkness. On the stage there are two actors and two musicians who, while narrating, alternate their roles swinging between poetry and music.
The result is an impressive elegy defined by music and words, that involves the audience in a total catharsis of 80 minutes.
